At the ARA Charity Foundation, we are dedicated to transforming lives and communities through our wide range of impactful programs and initiatives. We believe that by addressing diverse needs and challenges of individuals in communities; we can create a more inclusive and compassionate society.

Support for Individual and Groups: We extend our support and care to both individuals and groups especially during the festive seasons such as Ramadan, Easter and Christmas through our programs. Financial assistance, moral support, and essential materials; food, water, clothing and shelter where applicable are also provided to ensure no one is left behind.
Empowerment G
Empowerment: Our empowerment programs focus on individuals facing physical, emotional and wellbeing challenges, the elderly, and widows/widowers. We provide vocational training, skills development workshops, and counseling services to empower them to overcome barriers and lead independent and fulfilling lives. Through these programs, we aim to build self-confidence, enhance skills, and foster a sense of empowerment.
Education Support
Education Support:  Education is a fundamental right and a powerful tool for social transformation. We are passionate about supporting students through their educational journey. Our education support program encompasses tuition fees (scholarships), books, and other educational materials. By removing financial barriers and ensuring access to quality education, we aim to empower students and open doors to a brighter future.

Meet Our Founder
Rahman Alarape Snr 4
Rahman Alarape Snr., a remarkable individual, born and raised in Ebute-Metta on the Lagos mainland of Lagos state, is the only son among seven siblings, surrounded by six sisters. His journey has been one of unwavering commitment to both personal and societal growth, with a rich history as a renowned football player during his secondary school days at Ahmadiyya College (now Anwar-UL Islam Model College) in Agege, Lagos.
A rising star during his school years, Rahman showcased his football talent by featuring for esteemed teams such as Cadbury Football Club, Ikeja, First Bank FC, and NEPA FC in Lagos. He received a national invitation to the Nigeria Junior Eagles camp in 1982 before embarking on an educational journey to the United States.
